By accessing and using MiConvert, provided by the MiConvert Team ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website.
2. Service Description
File Conversion Services
MiConvert provides an automated online tool for converting various file formats. The service is provided "as is" and we continually strive to maintain high availability and accurate conversions.
Temporary Processing
Files uploaded to our servers are processed temporarily and are automatically deleted 1 hour after conversion. We do not claim any ownership over the files you upload.
3. Acceptable Use and Illegal Content
To maintain a safe platform, you agree to:
- Use the website strictly for lawful purposes.
- Not upload, convert, or distribute any content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or violates the intellectual property rights of others.
- Not engage in any activity that could harm, disable, overburden, or impair our servers or networks (such as DDoS attacks or exploiting bugs).
- Understand that while we do not actively monitor file contents due to privacy constraints, we reserve the right to block access or report illegal activity to law enforcement if it is brought to our attention.
4. Intellectual Property
All platform content, including text, graphics, UI/UX designs, and logos on MiConvert, is the property of the MiConvert Team and is protected by copyright laws. This does not apply to the files you upload, which remain your exclusive property.
5. Subscriptions, Billing and Refunds
MiConvert offers free use, paid subscription plans (Plus and Pro, plus API developer plans), and one-time payments for converting files larger than any subscription allows. Prices are shown on our pricing page before you commit to anything.
Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles payment, billing enquiries, tax and refunds, and their name may appear on your bank or card statement instead of ours.
Recurring billing
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account page.
Cancellation and refunds
Cancelling stops future charges and your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. Subscriptions carry a 30-day money-back guarantee. Full terms, including how one-time conversions are treated, are set out in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
6. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
No Warranty on Conversions
While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that file conversions will be flawless or suitable for your specific needs. We are not responsible for any formatting loss or data corruption that occurs during the conversion process.
Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall the MiConvert Team be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, our services, including but not limited to data loss or business interruption.
7. Governing Law
MiConvert is a globally accessible service. These Terms of Service are governed by international law principles. By using the service, you agree to comply with the applicable laws and regulations of your own jurisdiction.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time to reflect changes in legal regulations or our operational practices. Your continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of those changes.
