Is MiConvert free to use?
Yes. You can convert files without an account, up to 50MB per file. Creating a free account raises that to 100MB, and the paid plans go up to 1GB — see the pricing page.
How large a file can I convert?
50MB without an account, 100MB on a free account, 200MB on Plus and 1GB on Pro. If your file is larger than your current limit, the uploader will tell you before the upload starts rather than failing part-way through.
What happens to my files after conversion?
Your download link stays valid for 4 hours, after which both the uploaded file and the converted result are deleted from our servers automatically. We do not open, share or sell your files. See the privacy policy for the full detail.
Which formats do you support?
Several hundred conversion pairs across images, documents, video, audio, archives, 3D/CAD and raw camera files. The formats page lists every format we read or write, and all tools is searchable by the pair you need.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Everything runs in your browser — upload the file, pick the target format, download the result. There is also an API if you want to convert from your own code.
My conversion failed. What should I do?
First check that the file opens correctly in its original application — a truncated or partially downloaded file is the most common cause. If it opens fine and the conversion still fails, send us the details (source format, target format and roughly how large the file is) and we will look into it.
How do I report a bug?
Use the contact form and tell us what you did, what you expected and what happened instead. Including the page URL and your browser helps us reproduce it quickly.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open your account page and cancel there. You keep your plan benefits until the end of the period you have already paid for. Refund terms are on the refund policy page.
