The medical viewing and conversion tools provided by MiConvert are intended for educational, informational, and research purposes only. Our software is NOT a certified medical device and has not been cleared or approved by the FDA, EMA, or any other regulatory body.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the medical tools (including but not limited to DICOM, NIFTI, NRRD, and MHA viewers and converters) provided on MiConvert, you explicitly agree to these Medical Tools Terms of Service in addition to our general Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the medical tools.
2. No Medical Advice or Diagnosis
The tools provided on this website do not constitute medical advice. You agree that:
- You will not use these tools for primary medical diagnosis, patient care, or clinical decision-making.
- Any images viewed or converted through our service may suffer from loss of quality, artifacts, or distortion and should not be relied upon for clinical purposes.
- You will consult qualified healthcare professionals and use certified, regulatory-approved medical viewing software for any diagnostic needs.
3. User Responsibility and Liability
You assume all risks associated with the use of our medical tools. MiConvert, its creators, affiliates, and partners shall not be held liable for:
- Any misdiagnosis, delayed diagnosis, or clinical errors resulting from the use of images processed by our tools.
- Any loss, corruption, or alteration of medical data during the conversion or viewing process.
- Any legal or regulatory penalties incurred by you due to the uploading, processing, or mishandling of Protected Health Information (PHI).
4. Data Privacy and Anonymization
You agree to comply with all applicable data protection laws (such as HIPAA or GDPR) when using our tools. We strongly advise that all medical files be fully anonymized and stripped of personally identifiable information (PII) and PHI prior to processing. 5. Service Availability and Accuracy
We provide these tools on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any converted images or rendered 3D models.
