What opens AVIF files?

Will transparency be preserved?
No. JPG has no alpha channel, so transparent areas become white. Choose PNG or WebP instead if the image has a transparent background.
What if my AVIF is animated?
AVIF supports animation, and JPG does not. Only the first frame is converted. For an animated result, GIF or MP4 is the appropriate target.
